Through every experience, we learn. We learn about ourselves, we learn about others, and we learn about life. Remembering all of it is the hard part.
If you think about it, none of our individual experiences is really unique. It has all been done before. So, why do we not learn from previous experience? Why do we repeat unwanted behaviors? Because it's the individual that is unique. And each and every individual has to adapt to and learn from their personal experiences. Perhaps we don't always learn from our experiences because we do not look close enough at our Selves. Perhaps it is because we focus not on inside influences, reasons, and feelings, but on outside targets.
Maybe, if we practiced listening to our true Self, we could make sense of our repetitive behaviors and see how they got us where we are in our life path.
Maybe then, we could try to make sense of how and why our path crosses with others and what it is we are supposed to be learning along the way.
Maybe then, we can begin to live in Awareness.
